These Charms Terms of Use ("Charms Terms") supplement the main Terms of Service and govern your purchase and use of Charms — the in-product premium unit on chatbrat.ai — and any paid subscription tiers ("Pro" and "Premium"). By purchasing Charms or a subscription, you agree to these Charms Terms in addition to the main Terms.
1. What Charms are
Charms are a virtual in-product currency used to unlock premium scenarios, additional character memory capacity, extended conversation limits, and other features disclosed at purchase. Charms have no monetary value outside chatbrat.ai and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash.
Content tier. Charms and paid subscriptions (Pro, Premium) differentiate on message volume, memory depth, and feature access — not on content tier. During our current SFW launch phase, explicit content is not available on any tier. Pro and Premium unlock more of the platform, not different content ceilings.
2. Purchase
Charms are sold in bundles at prices disclosed at the point of purchase. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated at checkout. Prices may change; changes do not affect already-purchased Charms. Payment is processed by Stripe; card details are not stored on our servers.
3. Non-transferability and expiry
Charms are tied to the account that purchased them. They may not be transferred to another account, sold, gifted, or shared. Charms do not expire while your account is active. Unused Charms are forfeited if your account is terminated for a Terms violation.
4. Refunds
Because AI inference consumes real-time compute resources, Charms that have been spent are non-refundable. Unspent Charms from a bundle that has not yet been used may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase — contact [email protected] with your order reference.
EU/UK statutory withdrawal right. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with a statutory right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel and receive a refund for unspent digital content, unless you expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged loss of the withdrawal right at checkout. That consent is collected at checkout for any digital service that begins immediately. Your statutory rights are not reduced by this clause.
5. Subscriptions (Pro and Premium)
Paid subscription tiers are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis at the price disclosed at signup. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not cancel before the change takes effect, your continued use constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6. Account termination
If your account is terminated for a Terms of Service violation, all unused Charms and remaining subscription time are forfeited without refund. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a violation, we will refund unspent Charms on a pro-rata basis.
7. Changes to the Charms system
We may add, remove, or modify features that can be purchased with Charms. We will not reduce the value of already-purchased Charms without giving at least 30 days' notice and an opportunity to spend them at their original value.
