Isekai means "another world" in Japanese. How to run a good isekai
- Set the rules early. Tell the AI to track your level, party, and inventory. Naming the mechanics up front keeps the world consistent across a long chat.
- Ask for a game master, not a narrator. A good GM gives you problems to solve and lets your answers change the outcome. Push it to say yes to your plans and complicate them, rather than block them.
- Build a party. Recruit a companion or two and they give the journey stakes. Save your favorites as separate characters so they keep their voice.
